Derzeit haben Die HAVANA BOYS ein neues Project. 

THE HAVANA BOYS feat FLORIAN SCHIRMACHER so called:

WAREIKA erscheien auf Connaisseur!

In einem Keller am Rande des Universums - versunken über ihren Drumcomputern und Samplern - fingen die Havana Boys Geräusche und Gesprächsfetzen auf, arbeiteten sie um zu Tanzmusik und sendeten sie über große Tellerantennen zurück auf den blauen Planeten...

...direkt in den "Nexus": Eine legendäre Clubnacht, die Ende der 90er Jahre vom berühmten DJ Solaris 100 im Hamburger Mojo Club veranstaltet wurde. Aufgrund der großartigen Resonanz bat sie der Betreiber des Clubs mit auf die Mojo Dancefloor-Jazz Tour 2000. Durch diese Erfahrung waren sie von nun an gewappnet, sich selbständig durch die nationale Clublandschaft zu bewegen. Und dort haben sie sich mittlerweile gut etabliert:

Really cool first release of 2008 from Connaisseur Superior..Feeling the deep hrobbing moody groove of the org,for those darker early hours..Reboots afro

influenced drums and tinkling percussive journey make this an excellent EP for CS.

Wareika deliver a simply subliminal percussive gem here. The sheer warmth and mood slowly captivates and draws you in, refusing to let go. The Reboot rework adds a deeper twist, but for me the original wins by a mile. Full support.
